Alberto Giorgiutti’s professional interests are those that integrate all the development aspects of the territories, working on all scales, from the concept to the development of technical documents. His professional philosophy is simple: the landscape that affects us is what we call the ‘not built’; spaces that welcome everyday people’s lives. Whatever the scale, the issue about development, everyday management concerns, and our responsibility has to respond to current and prospective issues raised today by an ever changing society. Our fundamental search concerns to superimpose these fundamental elements in the planning of common spaces. The designs that interest us are only as a response to these fundamental questions.

As professor at the ‘Ecole d’Architecture de Lyon’, architect at the ‘Conseil en Architecture, Urbanisme et Environnement du Rhône’ until 1998, architect at the ‘Conseils d’Architecture, d’Urbanisme et d’Environnement of the Var department’ until September 2004, and previously instructor of technical personnel in the urban community of Lyon, between 1993 and 1995, Alberto Giorgiutti Always has combined his professional practice with teaching in the most ample sense. He has developed a methodology of dialogue aimed at the major projects he has been involved.
