FERRY POINT PARK / 2017
This master plan explores a series of improvements ranging from the upgrading of the appearance to increase the appeal of the entrance experience, reconstructing the park interior including sports fields, passive recreation areas, and bicycle and pedestrian circulation, and increasing the resiliency of the shoreline to protect the park from flood events.
This study broke the improvements down into three zones, Park Entrance Beautification, Interior Park Improvements, and Shoreline Resliency. Phasing and priority improvements were developed, and detailed cost forecasts were provided for items in each zone, allowing the development of a plan for funding.
